Timothy Should Not Receive Paul's Gospel Because Paul Circumcised Him

Paul circumcised Timothy.^{(Acts 16:1-3.)} Then writes in Galatia: For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles.^{Galatians 2:8}

If Paul circumcised Timothy, then Paul should leave Peter to deal with Timothy, since he made Timothy one of the circumcised. Instead, Paul mentors Timothy extensively, writing two recorded letters to him.

Value of this Evidence

This is weak evidence against Paul being a false apostle. Far stronger is the fact that Paul circumcised Timothy directly after being told gentiles did not need to be circumcised. However, this evidence shows that Paul did not take his own claims of separate apostleship.
